A Review: https://heidelblog.net/2022/08/review-of-the-reformation-study-bible-student-edition-english-standard-version/

Notably absent from the Student Edition are the creeds, confessions, and catechisms present in the standard Reformation Study Bible

The result is a study Bible that is relatively light for its class, compared to the full-sized standard Reformation Study Bible which is significantly heavier.

The Student Edition is currently only available in English Standard Version.

Older students, and those more mature in the faith, would likely benefit from the standard version of the Reformation Study Bible with its more extensive resources.

* ESV Church History Study Bible

YouTube review by Tim Nichols https://youtu.be/KO-UbcZufTI

YouTube review by Matthew Everhard https://youtu.be/Cfjr-NnPNNw

References and notes are at the bottom of the double-column text layout. The main text is a 9pt font, but commentary is a bit smaller.

Each of the 20,000 commentary segments is credited to one of the 400 prominent figures in church history, ranging from Athanasius of Alexandria, John Chrysostom, to Martin Luther, Jonathan Edwards, Charles Spurgeon, John Calvin, and more. High view of the Protestant Reformation.

It closes out with only three of the ecumenical creeds and none of the confessions, and several articles and resources. These articles cover the history of the Bible, its translation, and several major eras in church history. Simply put, it’s loaded.

* The Reformation Heritage Study Bible KJV

YouTube Review by R. Grant Jones https://youtu.be/YFEz-XqUHuQ

A review of the Reformation Heritage KJV Study Bible, ISBN-13: 9781601783240. The Bible features the King James Version (KJV) in a double-column, verse-by-verse format with a 10 point font. The text is black letter throughout. Although show-through is significant, the Bible remains readable. Notes and study helps are instructive, and they promote Reformed theology. Many of the notes are intended for use in personal or family devotions.

Features: many articles, introductions to major sections, church history, confessions and creeds, read the bible in a year.

* The Tyndale KJV Filament Bible with App

I’ve been digging into study Bibles. This is mind-blowing. It’s a physical Bible that links to a smartphone or tablet app to unlock study notes, articles, etc. Probably wouldn’t recommend for Bishop’s School, but it is ground-breaking.

Includes the groundbreaking Filament Bible App. This app enables you to use your mobile phone or tablet to connect every page to a vast array of related content, including study notes, devotionals, interactive maps, informative videos, and worship music.
